What a couple of weeks! I knitted more than I ever knitted before to help out a colleague and also wrote a lot – both for work and pleasure. What I’ve been up to work-wise Since I last wrote, I finished the knitting ebook (which you get when you buy a set of children’s knittingContinue reading “Writing and Work Update, July and August 2020”
I’ve also made an editorial calendar and actually wrote it on the wall calendar in order to follow it while also seeing the bigger picture…
I already had the idea of the Stone being covered in runes, but looking more like Mesopotamian tablets (think Sumerian and Babylonian); only bigger. Enter the Code of Hammurabi.

(Mostly because I worked on weekly mags for 8 years and my brain seems aContinue reading “May Writing Update – Fiction, Camp NaNoWriMo, and an Academic Paper”
Or, some days… the dragon wins. Sometimes it feels as if I am taking one step forward and two steps back when it comes to my writing. Not that I suddenly suck one day (I mean, obviously some stories don’t quite work, but I don’t mean that), but it’s like the month that there isContinue reading “April Writing Update”
