Other Writing News:

So… I received a rejection letter this week. But it did contain some great feedback so I actually don’t feel bad about it. I’ve made some notes already as to the changes I can bring into the story and think I will try and work on it this weekend.

I’ll post some new flash fiction tomorrow, but in the meantime you can visit Hersenskim Fiction for some lunchtime/teatime/anytime flash fiction stories.

  1. At least you got feedback. I have received some of my own with general, uninformative statements that the publishers were not interested. I am undeterred, and you should be as well. Writing something other people will like is a fun puzzle to work. Take care.

    • I agree – I’ve received quite a few with generic “not interested” answers. I think that’s why I actually didn’t mind this rejection that much. At least now I have a better idea of what I can do better in my future work. Here’s to all our “acceptance slips” in the future! 😀
